With great sadness, we say goodbye to Sister Ellen Mary Garrett who passed away on September 23, 2021.
Presentation associates gathered with sisters to share in a meaningful and energizing Community Days gathering. All present renewed their promise to live radical hospitality in all relationships and to make room at the table for everyone.
We welcome Associate Deborah Barrett! We have no doubt our lives will be enriched by the many gifts and excitement she brings to the associate program.
August 22, 1931 – August 30, 2021
Rita Swinton has been a Presentation associate for over 10 years. She is remembered with much love and gratitude and will be greatly missed.
With an estimated 20,000 people traveling to the Field of Dreams to watch the Yankees and White Sox game, the Tri-State Coalition Against Human Trafficking and Slavery, sponsored a billboard and bus wrap to call attention to end human trafficking.
August 31, 1932 – August 24, 2021
With great sadness, we say goodbye to Sister Agnes Marie Lynch. She will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace. There will be a welcome and vigil service on Friday, August 27, at 9:30 a.m., in Sacred Heart Chapel, Sisters of the Presentation, and a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West. COVID safety measures will be in effect.

With great sadness, we say goodbye to Sister Joan Lickteig. She will be deeply missed.
Presentation Sisters observed 80 and 60 years of religious life on July 14, 2021.
Sisters and associates from all over the United States and as far as Bolivia gathered at the Presentation Motherhouse for their 2021 Community Days gathering.
Dubuque Presentation associates contributed money to offer five scholarships to individuals associated with ministries supported by the Dubuque Presentation Sisters. Read about the well-deserved recipients.

With great sadness, we say goodbye to Sister Mary Jo Leifker. Sister Mary Jo will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace.

We endorse their joint statement on the conviction of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd.
Dubuque Presentation associates created an associate identity statement that expresses the essence of who they are to themselves, to one another and to the world in being called to the Presentation mission and charism.
In honor of Women’s History Month, every week women in the New Orleans community are being highlighted for their extraordinary work. This week Sister Julie Marsh is featured for her remarkable work in providing a home to the hopeless and homeless at Hotel Hope.
