Monthly Donor Program
Our Monthly Donor Program allows you to make a monthly donation directly to the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (PBVM) either through your bank account or by credit card (Mastercard, VISA, Discover or American Express). You can give any amount that is comfortable for you and you can change your monthly donation at any time by sending us a written notice. Pledging a gift of just $10 per month will provide the Sisters of the Presentation with predictable gifts to help support their mission and ministry.
Become a monthly donor today by completing the attached form. If you have any questions about our Monthly Donor Program, please contact the Partners in Mission Office at 563-588-2008 ext. 109 or by email at partnersinmission@dbqpbvms.org.
Gifts of Stocks, Bonds and Tangible Assets:
You can contribute securities or property directly to the Sisters of the Presentation and receive a deduction based on the current market value on the date of the gift. Doing so offers a twofold tax savings of not paying any capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock and receiving an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift.
Memorials and Honorary Gifts:
These gifts provide an opportunity to remember or honor a loved one as a way to leave a legacy, celebrate a special person or occasion. When making a gift of this type, please include the following information:
- Name of the deceased person or person you are honoring.
- Name of the person to whom notice of this gift should be sent with their address, city, state and zip.
A memorial card is sent to the family mentioning the name and address of the donor, but not the amount of the gift. An honorarium card is sent to the person being honored mentioning the occasion, name and address of the donor, but not the amount of the gift.

Matching Gifts:
Employers often match charitable gifts. Contact your employer’s Human Resources department to see if your company matches gifts. If it does, obtain a matching gift form from your company and mail it to our Partners in Mission Office with your gift. We will complete the form and return it back to your company.
