Women of Light House Float
With no Mardi Gras parades this year, New Orleans transforms houses into ‘floats’ in an effort to support local artists and suppliers out of work by COVID-19. Sisters Mary Lou Specha and Julie Marsh create the ‘Women of Light’ house float to encourage everyone to be a light for one another during these dark times.
