Join us for a time of prayer and reflection on December 15 as we respond like Mary, with a listening heart.
We honor and give thanks for the lives and ministries of Sisters Marian (Mary St. Jude) Sweeney and Dolores Zieser who celebrated their 75th jubilee on December 5, 2024. These two extraordinary witnesses of endurance, grace and dedication have been a blessing for many.
Beginning on November 13, 2024, our Presentation community celebrates the 150th anniversary of our foundation in Dubuque.
We invite you to be a part of this living legacy and help us reach our goal of 150 trees by either planting a tree or sponsoring a tree.
August 25, 1937 – October 20, 2024
With great sadness, we remember our beloved Sister Mary Francine Quillin who passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024. On Friday, October 25, friends may call from 4-7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, Sisters of the Presentation, where there will be a vigil service at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass will be on Saturday, October 26, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West.
Visitation Sisters transfer their congregational roles to Sister Carmen Hernandez, congregational leader of the Sisters of the Presentation.
NETWORK’s Nuns on the Bus have driven thousands of miles across the United States to prophetically speak for justice and advocate for adequate federal policies. Sister Richelle Friedman joins the last leg of this tour.

Yvonne Kisch has been a Presentation associate for 14 years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
We honor and give thanks for the lives and ministries of nine Dubuque Presentation Sisters who are celebrating their jubilee. Sisters Diana (Mary Natalie) Blong, Cheryl Demmer, Richelle Friedman, Suzanne (Theresa) Gallagher, Elena Hoye, Beth Kress, Corine Murray and Pamela Quade observe 60 years of religious life, and Sister Gina Foletta is observing 50 years.
