The Tri-State Coalition of Women Religious announce that Daniel P. Horan, Ph.D., will offer a public presentation titled “Finding Hope in Challenging Times” on Thursday, February 12, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 4300 Asbury Road in Dubuque, Iowa.
Throughout this anniversary year, the sisters celebrated not only their heritage, but the relationships that continue to sustain their mission. These moments invited them to give thanks for the legacy they inherit and the mission they continue to carry forward with hope.
Rooted in the Gospel and inspired by their foundress Nano Nagle, the sisters have long embraced the transformative power of welcome — not as a passive gesture, but as a bold, active commitment to love, inclusion and shared mission.

With great sadness, we remember our beloved Sister Anne McCormick who passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. On Thursday, January 8, 2026, friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, Sisters of the Presentation, where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m. On Friday, January 9, there will be a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with burial to follow.

With great sadness, we remember our beloved Sister Marian Sweeney who passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025. On Thursday, December 18, friends may call from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, Sisters of the Presentation, where there will be a wake service at 9:30 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West.

We honor and give thanks for the lives and ministries of three Dubuque Presentation Sisters who celebrate their jubilee on October 16, 2025, at the Sisters of the Presentation (Mount Loretto). Sister Linus Coyle celebrates 85 years in religious life, entering in 1940, and Sisters Marie Barth and Dolores Moes celebrate 75 years, entering in 1950.

Associate Mary Standing Bear has been a Presentation associate for 13 year. Known for her warmth, wit and resilience, she touched many lives with her humor and strong spirit.
August 31, 1927 – September 25, 2025
Associate Rita Stanley has been a Presentation associate since the Associate Partnership program started, over 25 years ago. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
March 11, 1936 – August 30, 2025
Associate Clara Ernst has been a Presentation associate for over 10 years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
