In Memory of Karla Berns

November 29, 1940 – May 26, 2013

GIFT GIVEN – God blessed Karla Berns! She was truly gifted and during her lifetime, on many occasions and in many places, shared her giftedness.

GIFT RECEIVED – For numerous years the Sisters of the Presentation have been touched by her giftedness among them. She was sister and friend, mentor and believer, co-worker and companion on the journey.

GIFT GIVEN – A true lover of her God and follower of Nano Nagle, Karla was witness to the Gospel and with determination carried the lantern light to advance and promote the charism of the Presentation Sisters.

GIFT RECEIVED – With open hearts many Presentation associates experienced Karla’s authentic appreciation for the community and the desire to also further the mission of Nano Nagle.

GIFT GIVEN – And so, in humble gratitude, with sympathy to her family and friends, and with heavy hearts Presentation Sisters commend their Gift, Karla, to her eternal reward. She will be missed dearly.
