In Memory of Associate Jim Kluesner
August 17, 1937 – April 5, 2024
James “Jim” Kluesner became an associate with his wife, Judy, on August 21, 2014, after connecting with Sisters Mary Dolores Moes, Agnes Marie Lynch, and Margaret Anne Kramer. Jim and Judy belonged to the Branches of the Word associate group for 10 years, meeting monthly to share friendship, prayers and to read and discuss the Gospel.
Jim was born in Strawberry Point, Iowa, and was a 1955 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Holy Cross, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Judy Clemen on October 12, 1968, in Farley, Iowa. Together they welcomed two children, Amy and Andrew. Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, his children and seven grandchildren.
Jim had a very strong Catholic faith and was active in many religious organizations over the years. Jim enjoyed going out for a good meal with family and friends. He also enjoyed sitting down and visiting with people. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who affectionately called him “Papa Jim”. Jim will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
