First-Hand Immigrant Stories from Minneapolis

Join us as Principal Chelsea Koplos shares a first-hand account of the situation at Risen Christ and the impact of recent ICE patrols and deportations that have brought fear and hardship to this predominantly Hispanic school community. The situation has led to families being separated, income lost and lives forever changed.
Remembering our Chapter commitment to care for immigrants and uphold the dignity of every person, we offer this opportunity on Ash Wednesday to begin Lent in prayerful solidarity with our brothers and sisters at Risen Christ and throughout the world.
