All of Us Are in this Together

The best and perhaps the only way to conquer the coronavirus is for All of Us to work together, united as one community. This is how we save as many lives as possible and get to the other side of the crisis.

Regardless of where we were born, we are standing shoulder to shoulder, and all of our contributions to the economy and society are more indispensable than ever.

Whether here for months or a lifetime, many of our neighbors have helped provide for our basic needs, kept us safe and healthy, educated and cared for our children, and raised our spirits during this unprecedented period.

In a time of pandemic, we are reminded of what matters: that all human beings carry an inherent dignity, that all human life is precious, that we are all worthy of respect, and that we all need one another.

We have enough to fear; we don’t need to fear each other.

COVID-19 affects us all. It does not care what we have or don’t have, where we come from, or how long we’ve been here. It only exploits our vulnerabilities as human beings.

To beat COVID-19, we need to come together despite our differences and fight back against this virus. We have faced difficult times before, and have always been at our best when we use our combined strength to make sure that nobody is forgotten or left vulnerable and alone.

This is our opportunity to take advantage of our full potential, which we can only do when we act together as one community.

All of us means All of Us.
