Presentation Sisters Celebrate 50 and 60 Years of Religious Life

Presentation Sisters Celebrate 50 and 60 Years of Gratitude

We honor and give thanks for the lives and ministries of nine Dubuque Presentation Sisters who are celebrating their jubilee. Sisters Diana (Mary Natalie) Blong, Cheryl Demmer, Richelle Friedman, Suzanne (Theresa) Gallagher, Elena Hoye, Beth Kress, Corine Murray and Pamela Quade observe 60 years of religious life, entering the Sisters of the Presentation in 1964, and Sister Gina Foletta is observing 50 years of religious life, entering in 1974.

Their celebration is July 17 at the Sisters of the Presentation (Mount Loretto) with a prayer service and shared meal with Presentation Sisters, associates and employees. “Shout for Joy” is their jubilee theme.

Walking in the footsteps of Presentation foundress Nano Nagle, these nine extraordinary witnesses of endurance, grace and dedication have been a blessing for many – family, students, parents, community members, parishioners, professional colleagues, the sick and elderly. Nano’s lantern is burning brightly as one can easily sense Nano’s presence in the lives and hearts of these incredible women who share the light of Christ through their gifts of loving service. We are grateful for their combined 530 years of faithfulness and the impact they have in our lives.
